Presenter: Trish Carroll
This workshop will provide you with information and insights on the experience of ageing as it impacts on your clients, and yourselves (in a professional and personal capacity). Trish will lead interactive discussions and activities relating to:
Facts on the many presenting and underlying challenges of ageing, all of which can impact on our clients and our own wellbeing, and inform our counselling practice;
Fears, myths and stereotypes of ageing which contribute to the experiences of loss and grief for our clients; and
Filters through which we, and our clients, may experience and perceive 21st century ageing.
Trish looks forward to discussing perspectives and experiences of ageing with you.
