Presenter: Juliette Kalifa
The day will include the presentation of an arts based approach to working with relationships. You will have an opportunity to facilitate the exploration of a relationship using creative modes and conversation and to inquire into an aspect of your own lived experience.
No previous artistic experience is required. The aim of this workshop is to give you basic skills and a taste experience of an arts based approach to working with relationships.
The workshop will be experiential. You will decide the degree of significance of the relationship you explore and your level of disclosure. Using the arts offer the possibility to explore and express creatively what may feel too delicate or unformed yet to express in words. Characteristic of all experiential training, respect of people’s privacy and confidentiality will be expected. By working in pairs with each other you will gain a sense of how it is to facilitate someone’s exploration of a relationship using the arts.
